Please add these important dates to your calendar:

  • April 1 - Project registration opens in FairEntry (hennepin-mn.fairentry.com) for ALL projects/exhibits. Note: Group Projects must be registered by staff. Let us know about your group project here:z.umn.edu/GroupProject_Register_Fair

  • May 15 - Project registration in FairEntry CLOSES at 11:59 PM for Cloverbud, club, general, exhibits, rabbit and poultry projects. Note: Group Projects must be registered by staff. Let us know about your group project here:z.umn.edu/GroupProject_Register_Fair

  • May 15 - 4-H member enrollment deadline; Animal ID deadline; Livestock Quality Assurance Training deadline

  • May 15 - Absentee/Virtual Judging Request form due. If not able to attend June 6th judging, submit form by May 15th (or ASAP on a circumstantial basis)

  • May 20 - Absentee Judging

  • May 22 - 4-H project drop off for youth being judged virtually or absentee (to be displayed at County Fair)

  • June 6 (Saturday) - Hennepin County Fair In-person judging (Cloverbud, General/Static projects, Food Revue, Fashion Revue, Performing Arts Revue and Demonstration judging)

    • 11:30 am - 5:00 pm with judging break 2:30- 3pm

    • LOCATION: UROC 2001 Plymouth Ave N, Minneapolis, MN 55411

  • June 11 – 13 - Hennepin County Fair at Corcoran Lions Park

  • June 11 @ 10 am Project Placement Announced

  • June 13 - Rabbit Showat the Hennepin County Fair, 5-6:30 PM

  • June 13 - State Fair project registration deadline for all general and rabbit projects, 5 PM

Sat., June 13th 9pm - NO PROJECTS RELEASED BEFORE 9PMSun., June 14th 9-10am - PROJECTS LEFT ONSITE WILL BE TAKEN BACK TO THE HENNEPIN COUNTY EXTENSION OFFICE IN EDEN PRAIRIE

  • TBA - Horse Project deadline for class registration in FairEntry

  • TBA - Dog Project deadline for class registration in FairEntry

  • TBA - Hennepin County 4-H Dog Show

  • TBA - Hennepin County 4-H Horse Show

  • TBA - State Horse Show & State Dog Show registration deadline
